Jesus was Liberal?
I hear this term over and over from Liberals, saying Jesus was a Liberal. Lets examine this for a while and see what we might conclude.
I hear them say things like "Conservatives are Heartless"! They won't vote for Government to give MORE to the needy and poor. They are "Socially Unjust" and "Greedy"! "You must be willing to pay more taxes to give to the poor for Social Justice reasons, and if you don't, YOU ARE HATEFUL!" This is what God says to do?... REALLY? It was estimated that American Taxpayers paid over $500 Billion dollars in Welfare expenditures in the year 2000. Its funny that it seems there can only be estimates made as to how much we actually spend on welfare, because of course; its split into different categories. No one knows really how much is spent! My guess is to try to keep taxpayers from seeing the REAL number and having a tantrum fit about it! I certainly don't think that kind of spending on the welfare programs is deemed small amount..Do YOU?
This gets me back to my original subject of Jesus being a Liberal. I wish to ask my friends on the Liberal side these questions: When you get to Heaven, are you going to tell God that you were a Godly man because you VOTED a certain way? You think since you voted for a party which gives money to poor, (Which is Confiscated by Force, and therefore STOLEN from other Americans pockets... NOT given Freely!) that you are covered when you get to Heaven, as a person who gave to the poor? STEALING from your neighbors is going to cover you in Heaven? STEALING is one of the forbidden things in the 10 Commandments!! I really think that when Jesus told people to take care of the poor, widows, and the sick; he was talking about YOU giving to the poor! Giving to the poor out of your OWN Property, Labors, Time, and Money! NOT JUST the RICH EXCLUSIVELY...BUT YOU TOO!!! You going to tell God, that you voted for the Rich to give to the poor, but you didn't give ANYTHING yourself... so you should be considered "GOOD"? (I wouldn't advise that, if I were you!)
Jesus charged us ALL to give to needy and poor! (THIS INCLUDES YOU!!) Its NOT a function of Government, but a function of Charity, and Compassion from inside yourself! You must budget the money for giving, out of your OWN money! It is money to be set aside for God's Command to feed and help the poor; and not used on your own household expenditures and lifestyle! You voting to take money from others doesn't cover you from God's Command to give!! If you don't give from your own Labors and Money...YOU are the one who breaks God's Commands!!!

Socialism Exposed
What is it that most appeals to people about the Socialist System? The theme I hear most often, is that it takes care of the Poor, and Underprivileged!
I wish to ask you, please show me a nation in the Entire History of the World that has been void of Poverty, Poor People, or the Downtrodden! Think about that fact for a minute! Under every Political System, Monarchy, Socialist Dictatorship, or Tribal Region...Some are well off, and some are not so much!
The one system, which as PROVEN to do the MOST good for the Common Man, in the history of the planet; is the Capitalist System. In 19th Century America, we had millions coming to our shores from all over the World, mostly Europeans. Most came here with empty pockets, hoping to make a better life for himself and his family. There was NO such thing as Welfare, Health care, Medicare, Medicaid, nor any other "Safety Net" program. Yet they came anyway!
Today, you would hear that the poor cannot do it on their own, they cannot be successful without Government Assistance. History from that particular period of time shows us differently!! Not only did they not fail, they sent for their Spouses, Mothers, Fathers, and Siblings to come here as well!! They did, and aren't we all thankful now!
Did those people come here, and get taken advantage of by the Capitalist System? If they were getting taken advantage of by a greedy Capitalist, would they have sent away for their families? I would submit they would have just went back to where they came from, if they were getting their necks stepped on by the boot of some Rich guy!! They would have said Capitalism only takes advantage of the Little Guy, and the poor...Not sent for the rest of the family to join him here in America!
That period of time was the closest America has ever been to un-regulated Capitalism, and un-regulated economic activity. That period was also the biggest INCREASE in Charity ever! Almost every major charity which we have today, sprang from this time period in America!
The Problems that Americans now face, can almost all be attributed to the Socialism that we have allowed to infect our system with. Its in large part the very reason many of our cities are on the verge of Bankruptcy! The Social Security System is all but Bankrupt, Medicare, Medicaid..same story! I can name 15 other programs in the same condition!
The point is, that even the BEST Systems of Government will ALWAYS have rich, and poor! Even the Leader of the Socialist, Communist Revolution in Cuba, says out of his own mouth that Socialism doesn't work! Cuba of all places is now going to reform itself to become more Capitalist! He tells his countrymen that they must now work harder for themselves, and quit relying upon Government!!
What works is UN-REGULATED Capitalism...Its the ONLY system which helps the MOST people get out of poverty!

Harry Reid Political Joke
A very bright, intelligent 14 year old young woman was sitting in First Class, reading a book while awaiting departure from the airport. She looked up and seen Senator Harry Reid boarding the plane. She recognized him because her family is very conservative, and talks about current events on a regular basis. She thought to herself, Oh God, please don't let him sit next to me! But sure enough, right beside her he sat! As he sat down beside her, she said hello.
After departure, Senator Reid formally introduced himself. The young woman said, yes I know.. my family talks about you on a regular basis! He perked up, impressed and flattered to hear that. He said well then, I have found that a good conversation makes time go by much quicker while on these flights. Perhaps we could have a conversation about Health Care, Global Warming, or perhaps the future we have in store for our Country. She thought to herself..Oh God, I really don't want to talk to this arrogant, pompous Jerk!! She said, Oh that's Ok Senator, I have a book to read and it makes the time go plenty fast for me. He persisted, oh as a young person you should know whats going on in the world around you, and I would be delighted to talk to you about any subject you like.
She said, Ok Senator. As you know... When a deer relieves itself, its in the form of a pellet, When a bird relieves himself its basically liquid, When a cow relieves himself, its in the form of a mushy pie. Why is that? Senator Reid was taken aback, and puzzled of her choice of topic. He said, why I don't know!
She smiled and said, Well now Senator... How can you talk about Health Care, Global Warming, or the Future of America...when you don't know SH*T!
